The August 6, 2007 Lansing State Journal carried a story on a Sunday, August 5, 2007 memorial gathering, remembering victims of war, especially the local veteran and peace activist, Ben Miller.

The Lansing Community College student organization, People for Positive Social Change, also re-dedicated a Peace Pole at Lansing Community College on August 5, 2007.

The memorial and re-dedication included peace cranes folded in memory of people who died in Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Here is a link to the Lansing State Journal story and photos:
